Mooseifesto

Today we set up the Mooseifiesto it took 6 hours but it was worth it. Two of those hours were getting there and back. The others were work. My dad fixed up the 3D moose head and we got a lot going on. The Mooseifiesto is held up at Wake Forest Coffee we even made a crittermas tree! There are critters throughout Wake Forest Central telling us to bring them back to the coffee shop. Then when the kid/parent/adult comes back with the critter they hang the critter on the tree. We had a lot of creations in there like the sticky note critters, the squid, the 3D moose head (main thing), the zonkey sticky notes, the zonkey, the turtle, and others now if you remember this is and was the first place I ever went to, to be his art assistant and its where I became his art assistant and it was the perfect place for the Mooseifiesto because when we first went there we put a moose on their ceiling and well what goes up must go down but this time it didn't go down. The moose could not come down so they just left it there. Even now a year since we put that show up they still have the moose on their ceiling. Also today we "lost" some more lost critters. Thats all I have for you so go Mooseifiesto and also buy those Cd's! And moose body parts!

One more thing for today

The sneak peek of the moosifiesto CD (made with garage band!)
No More Christmas This YearOur first song is a heart warming tale of a guy who went to all the trouble of writing his Christmas list and Santa just didn't come through. What else is there to do but plant a bomb in the chimney. Kaboomy! This tune is a little punkish and might not be everyone's cup of tea. And by "everyone" I mean people with no taste in music.Favorite lyrics:Thought it was magic anything that he doesbut I didn't realize what a fat slob he wasso when he slides on the down the chimneyhow quick he's gonna get skinny Kaboomy!!Take a listen: No More Christmas This YearTrapped Beneath the MistletoeOur next ditty is the love song off the disk. Trapped Beneath the Mistletoe is the sappy love song with the human interest story that all the chicks dig. Personally, I just like the ending. That, and the way I say "shnow".Favorite lyrics:Now it's almost Christmas daybut before we retireLet's go upstairs and set our hearts on fireHearts on fireTake a listen: Trapped Beneath the MistletoeChristmas Lights Don't Shine AnymoreThe final track is one of those songs that just hits home. I'm sure we've all experienced the heart break of being dumped around the Christmas season at least once. Some of you more than once. Best features of this track: the incredible guitar solo. Favorite lyrics:And all the streets have now been emptied but the street lights won't go on. I can feel an endless winter. Do you feel there's something wrong?Take a listen: Christmas Lights Don't Shine Anymore

Critter Goes on Tour

This is one of the critters from the lost critter project

and The owner on the blog http://christyscreativespace.blogspot.com/ thought it would be a fun idea to send Critter on a Blog tour. Christy posted a photo of Critter on her blog and challenged her reader to give her a good reason to send Critter their way. In return, the winner would give Critter a tour of the town, take him out and show him a good time and then a few days latter, have their own contest giveaway. The winner of that contest would do the same until Critter had made his way around 15 blogs to finally end up back here in apex, NC.The first first place Critter went was to Texas were he visited the blog of PJ Hoover. My understanding is that Critter had a great time in Texas, were he spent some quality time with a couple of tortoise. You can keep track of Critter's adventures at Christy's Creative Space. (And also to keep track i'll have it on the sidebar.)
